Pinnacle Armor’s ballistic and fragmentation resistant woven soft aramid blankets can defeat such specialized threats as ballistic, fragmentation and shrapnel from explosive blast detonations. This blanket when manufactured with X-2™ technology can defeat 3" chambered shotgun threats and other specialized threats such as armor piercing handgun, flechette, and up to 25mm directed and unimpeded fragmentation.

We offer three levels of threat protection: NIJ Level III-A, our own in-house level, III-A+, which will defeat, in addition to the III-A, the following threat: 7.62 x 25 mm Steel case, lead core @ 1440-1540 ft./sec, and our own in-house level III-B, which will stop the following rounds:

• 7.62 x 25 mm Steel case, lead core @ 1440-1540 ft./sec
• 9 mm 107 GR, KTW Teflon coated brass @ 1250 ft./sec. + 50-0
• 7.62 x 25 mm steel core @ 1400 ft./sec. + 50-0
• 9 mm CZ steel core, steel case @ 1250 ft./sec. + 50-0
• .357 Magnum 107 GR, KTW Teflon coated brass @ 1400 ft./sec. + 50-0
• 7.62 mm x 25 mm 85 GR, solid steel @ 1400 ft./sec. + 50-0
• 12 Gauge, 1oz. Rifled Slug, 20 inch barrel, 3" chamber @ 1450 - 1500 ft./sec.

• Vertical tubing for vertical rigid use over a door opening or vertical window.

• Horizontal tubing for horizontal window coverageor deployed coverage during movement.

The external carrier is constructed from Cordura® which is highly resistant to abrasion, slashes and is flame resistant. The blanket can be quickly deployed for a personal shield during movement, coverage for window and door openings, and vehicular barricade usage. Optional adjustable long and fixed short aluminum tubing is provided for either vertical or horizontal rigid use. Secondary quick use with the horizontal aluminum tubing provides for use as an expedient medical litter/gurney. Fixed, double reinforced sewn-in hand-holds are provided for flexible use as the standard, with the option of tubing.

The blanket can be configured into any shape and size. The blanket is easily deployed with the convienent carrying handles attached on all four sides, for horizontal or vertical usage. A convenient stowage bag is provided for each blanket for easy carry and transportation.
