These panels can be utilized as removable trauma panels or implanted inside your ballistic panel(s).

These panels will flex with your vest. Currently in use with the Royal Hong Kong Police, this armor provides excellent protection against knives, ice picks and the tough to stop armor piercing pistol rounds. The concept is simple, the bullet hits the X-2™ or X-2 Plus™ material, which is harder and tougher than the bullet. After impacting our material the bullet is much easier to stop with soft aramid or polyethylene backing panels. The X-2 Plus™ panel is comfortable, light and flexible and will upgrade your vest to defeat higher velocity ammunition better than any other flexible system available at 18 oz./sq. ft.

The X-2™ trauma panels are fragmentation, knife and ice pick resistant to 45 Ft./Lbs. of penetration energy, and are only 3/16" of an inch thick.

Spike Penetration Test The Spike Penetrator was dropped with 80' lbs of energy without penetration. This is on the X-2 technology without any textile backing.

The X-2 Plus™ trauma panels are fragmentation, knife and ice pick resistant, are only 1/10" of an inch thick; and provide upgrade protection against A.P. pistol rounds. X-2 Plus™ side protection is also available. The X-2 Plus™ panels will stop ice pick and knife attacks up to 81 ft/lbs., yet are less than 1.6 lbs./sq. ft.

The X-2™ series can also be accommodated to the size of
the entire armor panel offering complete coverage.

The Following Is Our Formula For Determining
How Your Vest Will Work With The X-2™ Upgrade:

• When you add the X-2 Plus™ to a level II vest it will upgrade to a III-A, capable of defeating the 7.62 mm x 25mm steel cased lead core ammunition.
• When you add the X-2 Plus™ panel to a level III-A vest it will upgrade to a III-A+, capable of defeating the 7.62mm x 25mm steel core ammunition up to 1470 Ft. Sec.
• When you add the X-2 Plus™ to the level III-A+ vest it will defeat one of the hardest to stop pistol rounds in the world, the 7.62mm x 25mm solid steel round from 1390 Ft./Sec. – 1500 Ft./Sec. and all lesser threats, which is designated as III-B.
